It’s a shame people think of sharks as such dangerous killers when in fact, humans are responsible for far more human and shark deaths than sharks. That’s something for you to think about next time you go swimming.
I’m surprised Discovery would create a show like this. Maybe it will turn out to be propaganda to sell a TV show. I hope so.

I don’ think I post any but I do see them pop up from others. They make me angry for different reasons. I don’t like them being used to create emotion in people, to solicit donations. What also makes me quite angry about them is the fact that there are people in dire straits who don’t get the same sympathy which dogs and cats do. Still, both dogs, cats and people are heavily over populated so some logical and practical part of me cares a lot more about the wild animals, native animals, who have no habitat because there are too many people with their pets who hog it all and continue to do so. Making it seem the wild non-pet animals are the ones who are in the way. Rant over, go back to fawning over your pets.

You fiery inferno of awesome. You’re associated with hope, immortality, and regeneration. You’re essentially immortal, so you’re an old soul, and a pro at deflecting drama without causing more conflict. You prefer observation to action, and you’re an excellent judge of character. You’re quiet by nature, but when it comes to a fight, you’re a fierce adversary.
This was in the parking lot area of a small town restaurant. I thought it was smart. I’m a non-smoker (partly due to allergies and asthma). So the smell of cigarettes is not pleasing to me but I especially dislike the smell of old cigarettes and the sight of piles of cigarette butts at the entrances of places like restaurants.
This year we have been finding cigarette butts flicked into the garden in front of our house too. It is pretty thoughtless to flick cigarette pollution in someone’s manicured lawn, carefully maintained and treasured garden space.

I’m trying to make my ASCII art work for the online stores. So far I am sticking with working on Zazzle (recommended by a friend with many names) and CafePress (mostly because it’s been around a long time and I like the name). It is a very uphill battle. Each time I make some progress […]
Beanie Babies may have lost value as a collectible but they do make nice art. It helps that you can pick up a dozen of them for a quarter these days. I find them in the thrift shop and second hand toy stores. At times they are overstocked and bagged up, 25 cents for the […]
The name is good. But, I don’t get a clear idea of what it’s about. Adventure, life and travel is a lot of ground.
Sharks in art. I am a Shark Collector in the way of collecting shark art online. I used to have a shark art book. Now I don’t. But, each great shark image or shark post (including the cause of shark conversation) I post to Snip.it: Sharks. Above is a shark done in text art. It’s not the […]
